8) Nuts
Nuts are consumed in both main dishes and as delicacies. They vary widely in quality and price, and as such, are different in nutritional value. They are mostly rich in fatty acids, vitamins, and some minerals, especially magnesium. They also contain selenium in high amounts which is essential for blood cells formation, and copper which has various functions in many chemical processes in the body. You have to be careful, however, as they are high in calories and their use in desserts only adds to its caloric value.
