10) Leafy Vegetables
Vegetables are rich in vitamins, fibers, and minerals. They are usually low in calories, making eating large amounts of them healthy and with no risk of weight gain. Leafy greens are usually more beneficial owing to their high content of fibers, improving digestion and preventing constipation. They are also rich in vitamin K, which is an essential vitamin for blood coagulation, the process that prevents us from bleeding excessively when we are injured. Vegetables are also rich in antioxidants and decrease the risk of colon cancer.
