Physical therapy is highly effective for treating knee osteoarthritis. There are two main types of physical therapy for knee osteoarthritis:
- Strengthening exercises: These exercises help strengthen the muscles and ligaments around the knee to help stabilize and protect it.
- Range-of-motion exercises: These exercises help increase flexibility and range of motion in the knee.
