What Is Intermittent Fasting? Intermittent Fasting Benefits & Plan

3) The Eat-Stop or 24-Hour Fast Method

This is a more advanced type of intermittent fasting you should only try after experiencing the ones above and making sure you don’t have any problems with them. In the eat-stop method, you should achieve a 24-hour fast, which can be done once or twice a week.

For example, you decided to start a 24-hour fast on Wednesday, and your last meal was at 7 pm. So, you will continue fasting until 7 pm Thursday. If you try this fasting method, the only rule is that they shouldn’t be consecutive days if you’re doing this twice a week.

Once you master the 16/8 method without feeling dizzy or irritable, you can try the 5:2 method or extend the fasting period progressively before trying a 24-hour fast.
