What Makes a Meal Healthy? Healthy Eating Habits

Dinner is a meal that is skipped by many people who want to cut down their caloric intake. It can, however, be had and you can still keep a healthy body, but you have to keep in mind a few considerations:

  1. Make it light: By the end of the day, your body will have little time to use what you are eating and there is no need to eat a lot a few hours before bed.
  2. Do not eat just before sleep: Filling your stomach before sleep is always a bad idea. You will have some trouble digesting that food and you may suffer from reflux or indigestion. Your cholesterol levels will also rise since the calories in that meal would not be consumed.
  3. Do not eat it in front of the TV: There is a temptation to eat dinner while watching your favorite show, but this will lead to you overeating without feeling it.
